This page explains what personal information Memphis Keys ("the service", "we", "us") handles, and what we do with it.

1. What we hold about you

• Your account. Your email address, the name you give us, and your password. The password is kept only in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the password.
• What you follow. The live streams you add to your account, and your settings.
• Payments. Payments are taken by a third-party payment processor. We receive the status of your plan (for example, paid until a certain date). We do not receive or keep your full card number.
• Technical records. Your internet address, the kind of browser or device you use, when you sign in, and a record of requests made to the service. We keep these to run the service and to protect it from misuse.

2. Cookies and storage on your device

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores a few preferences, such as the page you last opened. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

The pages load typefaces, and some pictures, directly from other companies' servers. Those servers receive your internet address when they do, as with any web page.

3. Other people who appear in the service

The service shows information about live streams and about people who take part in them. If you believe information about you appears in the service and you would like it looked at or removed, please contact us.

4. What we use it for

• To give you access and show you what you chose to follow.
• To take payment and keep your plan up to date.
• To keep the service secure, prevent sharing and misuse, and fix faults.
• To answer you when you write to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the service, such as hosting and payment providers, and only as far as they need it to do that. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the service and the people who use it.

6. Where it is kept, and for how long

Information may be stored and processed in Canada and in other countries where our providers operate. We keep your account information for as long as your account is open, and for a limited time afterwards in backups and where the law requires records to be kept.

7. Your choices

• You can change your password from your account.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Who this is for

Memphis Keys is used by people who host live streams. The platforms it works with require you to be 18 or over to host a live stream, and to send or receive gifts, so everyone using Memphis Keys is already 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

People watching a creator's live stream are not our users. They do not sign up, they give us nothing, and we never ask them for anything.

10. Changes to this page

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
